How to Install Oscam on the Dreambox Decoders?

Time needed: 15 minutes

How to Install Oscam on the Dreambox (Newnigma2) Decoders?

1. Install the OSCAM

   Launch WinSCP in the home window
   File protocol: FTP
   Hot name: 192.168.1.100 (IP address of your Dreambox)
   User name: root
   Password: “empty” by default the root password in Newnigma2 is empty (no password)

2. Login and select

   After Login Select the DEB file and drag between the two windows to the /tmp folder.

3. Select NEWNIGMA2 SERVICES

   PRESS BLUE BUTTON to select NEWNIGMA2 SERVICES

4. EMU MENU

   Select EMU MENU

5. Add remove camds

   Click on Add remove camds

6. Go Offline

   Press the GREEN BUTTON to go Offline Install

7. Choose DEB file

   Choose the DEB file and press OK
   Please wait while GUI finishes restarting

8. Copy of the OSCam subscription

   Copy subscription files from your PC to the /etc/tuxbox/config path of your receiver.
   oscam.server
   osam.conf

9. Start oscam

   To start Oscam Press the blue button

10. Newnigma2 services

    Select Newnigma2 services

11. EMU MENU

    Select EMU MENU

12. CAM CHOICE

    Select CAM CHOICE

13. Start OSCAM 11718

    Press the GREEN button to start OSCAM 11718

14. Stating Oscam

    Please wait while starting OSCAM

15. Wait

    Wait until the process Finishes

16. Finish

    Enjoy Oscam on your Dreambox decoder
