How to watch Discovery Plus on Smart TV
If you watch Dplay or Dplay Plus from apps directly on your Smart TV. Then you can also watch Discovery + programs.
- Search and download the Discovery + app from the app store of your Smart TV ;
- Restart your Smart TV;
- Then check if you need to update the Discovery Plus app;
- Try to login with your credentials.
Discovery + app for Smart TV compatible devices
If you want to watch Discovery + content on Smart TV. Then it is recommended to have an internet connection with a download speed of at least 2.5 Mbps for SD content quality and 4 Mbps for HD quality.

- Android smartphones and tablets with 5.0 (Lollipop) and higher.
- Chromecast Generation 2 or later.
PC / Mac compatible browsers:
- Operating systems before Windows 10: Chrome 51+, Firefox 41+.
- Windows 10 operating system: Edge 16+, Chrome 51+, Firefox 41+.
- macOS operating systems higher than version 10.10: Chrome 51+. Firefox 41+, Safari 11+.
- Linux higher than version 4.4: Chrome 51+, Firefox 41+
- Kindle, Play Station, and Xbox do not support the discovery + app.
Compatible Smart TVs
- Samsung TV with Tizen 2.4 (2016) or later.
- Android TV with Android 7 or later.
- Amazon Fire TV – Fire OS 5 and later.
- Apple TV.
Incompatible Smart TVs:
LG webOS Smart TV.
